Vasectomy Service

The Practice now offers a Vasectomy Service to our patients and patients from local GP Surgeries via a referral from your GP. Dr R John provides the service alongside a member of the Nursing Team.


Antenatal clinics are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, by the Midwife. Please contact Reception to arrange appointments. 

Glucose Tolerance Testing (GTT) 

This service is provided to pregnant ladies considered at risk of developing gestational diabetes.  The Practice is one of five providers of this service across the city, and welcomes Patients from all Practices.   

Child Health Surveillance

A Child Health Surveillance clinic is held on Wednesday mornings.  Please ask at Reception for further details. 

Vaccination and Immunisation Clinic

This is held on Tuesday afternoons, and is an open clinic.  We recommend full immunisations for all babies and pre-school children. 

Influenza Vaccinations

It is Government policy that all Patients over the age of 65 years, those with chronic diseases such as heart, chest and kidney diseases, and those suffering with diabetes, asthma or immuno-supression, and children aged 16 and under, receive an annual ‘flu vaccination.  Vaccinations are given annually, normally between September and December. 

Travel Advice and Vaccinations for those Travelling Abroad

The Practice Nurse's are available to give advice to Patients planning to travel abroad.  Please make an appointment with a Nurse to discuss your needs.  


This clinic is held Weekly on a Tuesday and Friday and is run jointly by a Doctor, a Practice Nurse and a Healthcare Assistant, for Patients with diabetes. 


We hold regular dedicated asthma clinics where your condition can be monitored and advice given to you. 

Smoking Cessation

We offer advice to all Patients regarding smoking cessation programmes.  

Minor Surgery

The Doctors carry out a wide range of minor surgery procedures. 

Insurance/Taxi/HGV Medicals

All private medicals for Registered Patient's can be arranged at Reception.  There will be a charge for these appointments.
